Sustainable Reduction in NRW

Apply the International Water Association’s (IWA) methodologies and strategies for evaluating and reducing NRW in their distribution network.

Activities Performed: 

• Provide on the job training to staff from 4 Romanian water companies on the practices and methodologies of the International Water Association for the reduction and control of NRW in pilot areas of the water companies’ networks. 

• The training services included guidance and coaching in designing and setting-up DMAs, data collection, review and analysis and NRW reduction strategies.
