Roland Liemberger has worked endlessly to deliver free products to his friends prior to him passing in May 2023. In his honour the free Water Balance “Easy Calc” spreadsheet has been updated and now also combines the Carbon Balance for the same period of the Water Balance. Dave Pearson completed all the changes to the spreadsheet and worked with a team throwing at him their needs while also going back to have him fix the bugs!!! This is the latest version available, offering a comprehensive approach that integrates the volumetric water balance with its associated carbon footprint. By combining these two critical components, the tool not only quantifies water losses and inefficiencies within the system but also measures their environmental impact in terms of greenhouse gas emissions.
The Excel spreadsheet contains macros, which are used in the calculations. Once the file is downloaded 'cut' and 'paste' the spreadsheet from the zip file onto your desktop or chosen folder. Right click on the excel file, do not open it, and click on "Properties". From there please see the image on the left on unblocking macros before opening the excel file. Press 'Apply' and then 'OK' to finish the procedure. After this open the file as normal.
